We are Owlcat Games, creators of the computer and console games Pathfinder: Kingmaker, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, and Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader – hardcore isometric RPGs.

We are looking for a specialist to create staged scenes in game locations and diversify and brighten up the space around the PC in our new sci-fi RPG project on UE5.

TASKS:

· create and configure staged scenes in the game build;

· adapt the game environment to the narrative with staged scenes;

· analyze the source data (LDD / Level design doc) to build the right gameplay flow;

· develop and implement content solutions to complement and enhance gameplay immersion;

· work in coordination with the location quest designer and the director;

· work in coordination with animators, lighting designers, sound engineers, and FX artists to create the final cinematic experience the PC will see in the gameplay;

· work in coordination with technical artists to develop and improve work tools.

REQUIREMENTS:

· love for games and the gaming industry;

· 1.5 to 2 years of experience in the gaming industry;

· experience as Game Logic Scriptwriter / Game Designer / Level designer;

· experience with Unreal Engine;

· experience with interactive storytelling;

· keep up with the modern gaming industry and development principles.

DESIRABLE QUALITIES:

· experience with correct composition construction, camera work, framing principles, timing, and scenes dynamics work;

· experience with the Unreal animation system.
