OWLCAT GAMES is an independent studio founded in 2016 and known for deep, story-driven RPGs. Our team created Pathfinder: Kingmaker, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, and Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader. We’re now working on two new titles: Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy and The Expanse: Osiris Reborn.
We’re looking for a Brand Manager to join our team — someone who will shape how players perceive our games long before they launch. You'll create compelling marketing campaigns, develop creative messaging, write trailer scripts, prepare content for digital storefronts, and engage with players across Steam, other PC platforms, and consoles.
TASKS:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies for our games across various communication channels
- Produce marketing and promotional assets, including trailers and content drops
- Write scripts, marketing copy, and promotional messaging
- Manage content on websites and game pages across PC and console digital storefronts
- Plan and launch advertising campaigns, as well as digital and offline events
- Develop promotional partnerships and explore new marketing formats, including influencer collaborations
- Identify new growth opportunities for our games, constantly asking: "What else can we do to get more players interested in our games?"
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 3 years of experience in video game marketing
- Strong project management skills, including planning, briefing, task assignment, and overseeing execution
- Creative writing skills, particularly in scripting trailers and promotional videos
- Experience working with Steam and other gaming platforms, preferably with premium (buy-to-play) games
- Solid understanding of advertising channels, formats, and key performance metrics
- Experience with Google Analytics or similar analytics tools
- Extensive experience playing PC and/or console games, with a strong understanding of what resonates with gamers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to express ideas clearly and effectively
- Russian language skills at B2 level are necessary due to the team’s Russian-language production pipeline and internal communication.
