OWLCAT GAMES was founded in 2016. The studio employs experienced developers who worked on projects such as Pathfinder: Kingmaker, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, and is currently working on titles Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy and The Expanse: Osiris Reborn.

TASKS: 

• Full-cycle accounting: In accordance with IFRS and local standards.
• Period-end closing: Conducting Month-End / Year-End procedures, preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet, disclosures).
• Reconciliations and adjustments: Regular reconciliation of GL accounts, banks, and intercompany transactions; preparing accruals and prepayments.
• Audit and consultants: Full support for external audits, preparing audit schedules, communicating with auditors, tax advisors, and providers.
• Taxes and fixed assets: Preparing VAT returns, maintaining the fixed assets register, and calculating depreciation.
• Automation and ERP: Optimizing processes in Oracle NetSuite, participating in automation projects.

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Qualification: ACA, ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience: 5+ years in accounting, including experience in Senior Accountant / Chief Accountant / Deputy Chief Accountant roles.
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of IFRS, Cyprus tax and accounting legislation, hands-on experience managing full-cycle accounting, and VAT preparation.
• Audit: Practical experience in independently undergoing external audits and communicating directly with auditors/tax experts.
• Fluent English.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Oracle NetSuite.
• Experience in international groups, IT, or GameDev companies.
