OWLCAT GAMES was founded in 2016. The studio employs experienced developers who worked on projects such as Pathfinder: Kingmaker, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, and is currently working on titles Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy and The Expanse: Osiris Reborn.

We are currently looking for a Technical Level Designer.

TASKS:

• Oversee the production and implementation of the technical elements of a complete game feature
• Contribute to data optimization and validation by ensuring that colleagues comply with the technical standards
• Act as one of the project`s technical experts on a specific game element
• Take part in advanced data debugging until production has ended
• Provide feedback to design technical directors, including solutions to technical issues and suggestions to improve tools and methods, bugs, etc.
• Carry out production tasks as a game or level designer and prototype the gameplay features during game design
• Design and implement elements that are more complex, more abstract or more technically challenging which impact the entire game

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in technical design, scripting, game design or level design
• Experience with Unity, programming and scripting
• Adaptability, detail orientation, proactivity and ability to work autonomously
• Russian language skills at B2 level are necessary due to the team’s Russian-language production pipeline and internal communication
• Ablility to clearly express ideas (spoken and written)
• Ability to understand and communicate in technical language
