We are Owlcat Games, the creators of the hardcore isometric RPGs like Pathfinder: Kingmaker, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, and Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader. We are looking for a Game Analyst who will take a leading role in establishing our in-game analytics ecosystem. Your primary mission will be to build a robust data flow and reporting system that gives the team a deep understanding of player behavior and in-game decisions.

You will work closely with product owners, game designers, and the publishing team to transform raw gameplay data into actionable insights, helping us balance gameplay and improve the player experience.

TASKS:

- Design and help the team implement an end-to-end analytics framework in the upcoming games;
- Define core product metrics and in-game events that allow for a better understanding of players’ actions and patterns;
- Collaborate with development teams to plan telemetry logic and data tracking requirements;
- Analyze the data, feature adoption, player progression, and difficulty curves to inform balancing and roadmap decisions;
- Design and run tests and evaluate feature performance statistically;
- Produce regular reports and propose hypotheses or detect anomalies based on data findings;
- Build and maintain BI dashboards, allowing the product owners to access the data in a convenient and straightforward way;

REQUIREMENTS:

- 2+ years of experience as a Game Analyst / Product Analyst / Data Analyst (gaming industry strongly preferred);
- Ability to design event tracking schemas and telemetry logic;
- Strong SQL proficiency and experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar);
- Solid understanding of the premium gaming industry and key metrics;
- Comfortable working with large data sets;
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into practical recommendations;
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, especially when presenting findings to stakeholders;
- Russian language skills at B2 level are necessary due to the team's Russian-language production pipeline and internal communication.
