OWLCAT GAMES was founded in 2016. The studio employs experienced developers who worked on projects such as Pathfinder: Kingmaker, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, and is currently working on titles Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy and The Expanse: Osiris Reborn.

TASKS:

• Daily work in Jira on narrative-related tasks: creating tasks for narrative documentation; logging and sorting tasks based on playtest feedback; maintaining and updating the backlog; reviewing incoming requests from other departments; clarifying priorities and deadlines; and creating tasks and requests for other departments
• Alignment on high-level priorities with the domain manager and team lead to establish task order and prioritization within the department
• Creating and maintaining a prioritized list of items for review by domain leads, with regular updates
• Checking priorities during daily team syncs and assisting with sprint planning
• Facilitating the organization of department meetings
• Maintaining process documentation for the narrative department
• Collecting statistics on actual task completion times to keep standard timelines up to date.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Planning skills sufficient to develop integrated plans within the area of responsibility (including detailed day-by-day plans when required)
• Monitoring and timely updating of plans
• Effective interaction with stakeholders (“customers”), including timely communication and responsiveness to incoming requests
• Knowledge of the relevant domain (for development roles: knowledge of the game industry)
• Clear and well-structured written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to support and defend one’s point of view with well-reasoned arguments
• Proficiency with office applications and task-tracking tools (Jira).
