OWLCAT GAMES was founded in 2016. The studio employs experienced developers who worked on projects such as Pathfinder: Kingmaker, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, and is currently working on titles Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy and The Expanse: Osiris Reborn.

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Narrative Designer to join our team and work on the content for The Expanse: Osiris Reborn.

TASKS:

• Writing compelling scripts, high-quality dialogues, quests, and other in-game texts that fit the established lore and tone of the project
• Working closely with other teams (Level Designers, Quest Designers, Artists etc.), formilating script-related tasks for them and overseeing their completion
• Developing narrative designs fo game locations, ensuring seamless integration between gameplay and story

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of experience as a Narrative Designer, with at least one shipped RPG, action-adventure, or narrative-driven title
• Experience writing in the science fiction genre or similar
• Good familiarity with modern AA/AAA action-adventure games 
• English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate (B2) level or higher (both written and spoken)
• Russian language skills at B2 level are necessary due to the team’s Russian-language production pipeline and internal communication

WILL BE A PLUS:

• Experience with narrative pipeline management or mentoring junior/mid-level writers
• Deep familiarity with the sci-fi genre and hard sci-fi settings
